Winter often invites rest and reflection, while spring encourages movement and growth. However, many women emerge from winter already feeling depleted due to busy lifestyles, stress, or ongoing hormonal challenges.
If you feel tired despite the brighter days, your body may simply be asking for gradual renewal rather than immediate action. Supporting energy levels slowly allows hormones and the nervous system to adjust more comfortably.
Listening to your body during this transition is key.

Endometriosis Awareness Week, beginning on 3rd March, aims to highlight a condition that affects millions of women worldwide — yet is still widely misunderstood.
It is estimated that 1 in 10 women live with endometriosis, many experiencing symptoms for years before receiving a diagnosis. Raising awareness helps women feel seen, heard, and supported on what can often be a challenging journey.

Optional garnishes: fresh parsley, drizzle of coconut milk, toasted pumpkin seeds

Winter is really wintering these last two weeks and the cold snap is set to continue as we all go back to our normal post-festive routines. If you are struggling with this season and many of us do, there are many ways of working with the season and feel our best.
Although winter can be a beautiful season of stillness, for many of us it also brings a sense of heaviness. Shorter days, colder weather, disrupted routines, and less sunlight can all affect our mood, energy levels, and consequently our emotional and physical wellbeing.
If you’re feeling more tired than usual, low in mood, unmotivated, or emotionally flat, please know — you’re not alone, and nothing is “wrong” with you. The winter blues are a natural response to seasonal change, and they invite us to slow down and care for ourselves more gently.
